What a fun week! Tuesday I flew out to San Diego to visit the COBRA PUMA Golf offices in Carlsbad, CA.
It was really cool to get a sneak peek of what the engineers and designers are working on for the upcoming seasons.
From their golf simulator where they test their newest inventions, to the lab where the engineers are creating the next best product in the equipment world, to the actual warehouse where they are built, crafted and then shipped to you — I was blown away by the COBRA equipment side of the company’s offices.
But then when I stepped into the fashion design studio and marketing offices, I was in heaven.
My mom has a fashion merchandising degree and works in the industry, so I’m naturally drawn to this side of the business too.
Who knows, maybe one day I’ll get to aid in the design process! What a dream!
I capped off a fun Tuesday commute to the West Coast, walking nine holes at sunset at Goat Hill Park.
If you get a chance to visit this hidden gem, you must go!
For a mere $25, two people can walk nine and hit a bucket of balls. That cheap in California, no less! Now that’s my kind of evening entertainment.
But be prepared to climb some crazy hills. You’ll understand why they call it Goat Hill very quickly.
Pro Tip: goats go high. Always take the higher path for the easier walk 😉
It is a true honor to be featured with such inspirational and successful women in the golf industry.
I wish I could tell you more, but I’ve been sworn to secrecy…
I can’t wait to share it with you guys! Stay tuned!
