Teryn’s Takeaways – Tiger’s historic win No. 82

October 28, 2019

He’s baaaack! Ok he’s been back but Tiger Woods reached one of the most pivotal points in his career on Sunday — tying the record for the most PGA TOUR wins of all-time. Prior to yesterday’s ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP, Sam Snead was the only player to ever reach 82 wins in a career. History loves company, but Tiger does not. I wouldn’t be surprised if sometime this season we see him break the record and stand alone, atop of the all-time wins list. That will be some incredible stuff to witness. What’s even more incredible are the three wins that Tiger…

Teryn to be part of COBRA PUMA’s new campaign

October 14, 2019

What a fun week! Tuesday I flew out to San Diego to visit the COBRA PUMA Golf offices in Carlsbad, CA. It was really cool to get a sneak peek of what the engineers and designers are working on for the upcoming seasons. From their golf simulator where they test their newest inventions, to the lab where the engineers are creating the next best product in the equipment world, to the actual warehouse where they are built, crafted and then shipped to you — I was blown away by the COBRA equipment side of the company’s offices. But then when…

Mitchell makes headlines with hole-out eagle in Qualifying School

October 7, 2019

For those of you that have been following our journey, or more specifically, my husband Mitchell Gregson‘s golf career — thank you for your support. We have a big moment and some exciting news to share with you! This week, Mitchell competed in First Stage of Korn Ferry Tour (formerly Web.com Tour) Qualifying School. Mitchell needed a birdie in the final round on the 18th hole in order to move on to Second Stage next month. So he went ahead and HOLED OUT FOR EAGLE from 168 yards out, instead! Hailed as the best moment of qualifying season yet, the…

Next week the PGA TOUR heads to my neck-of-the-woods for the PLAYERS Championship. For those of you making your way to Jacksonville, here are some of my favorite spots around my home-course. If you’re traveling to Jacksonville, I hope the weather stays like it’s been for the past few weeks. BEAUTIFUL! (With just a tiny bit of rain.) This is the first time the best field in golf will battle TPC Sawgrass in the month of March since 2006. Everyone has been wondering what the weather will be like. I hope it stays like this! Jacksonville is my second home,…

Teryn’s Guide to Spring Training on the Florida Swing

February 26, 2019

This week marks the start of my favorite time of the year: springtime in Florida — the epicenter of golf and baseball. The entire month of March sports fans can experience both PGA TOUR golf on the “Flordia Swing” and the MLB’s Grapefruit League at Spring Training. I love both and wanted to share my tips and experiences making the most of this exciting time of year! So this week I’m throwing it back to a blog post I wrote back in 2017, detailing how you can plan yourself a professional golf and baseball-themed vacation. But, what’s so exciting is…

Teryn’s Guide to the Monterey Peninsula – Pebble Beach

February 19, 2019

As someone who grew up in “baseball heaven” (Go Cards!), I feel like I have an eye for such things 😉 So I have no doubt I went to golf heaven and back, two weeks ago on my trip to the Monterey Peninsula. Yes, I’ve been to Ireland (still need to visit Scotland and the Home of Golf, though). Yes, I’ve been to Augusta — and have experienced many other slices of golf heaven in between. But visiting Pebble Beach and the Monterey Peninsula is like a right-of-passage in the golf world. Walking onto Pebble Beach for the first time…

Click here to read last week’s Guide to La Jolla & San Diego — Torrey Pines Warning: Mitchell and I are BIG wine lovers! While Mitchell has grown up in a wine loving family, I’m a rookie wino – but I’m definitely willing to learn 😉 In the past four months, we’ve traveled to…

Teryn’s guide to La Jolla – San Diego, CA

February 4, 2019

As I head out to Pebble Beach for my second stint on the West Coast in three weeks, I thought I’d share with you my favorite spots during my recent visit to Torrey Pines in La Jolla — just north of downtown San Diego. This year my mom came with me, seeing how much I loved it the past two years, and so many of you asked for recommendations after my trip. So here you go! There’s no other place I’d rather begin my yearly PGA TOUR travels than at Torrey Pines. (Ok, maybe Hawaii would be awesome.) But the…

What I read in 2018

December 31, 2018

I’ve always been a book nerd, from the time I was little. Even though life gets busy, I still make time for a little reading before bed, on flights, etc. If I can squeeze in about 18 books a year, you can too! Here’s my complete list of books I read this past year. My 2018 reading list: (In no particular order) She Reads Truth Bible The Power of Now | by Eckhart Tolle Shaken | by Tim Tebow Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows | by Balli Kaur Jaswal JB Carr; the life and times of Ireland’s greatest amateur golfer…

My favorite #OOTD of 2018: how I found my wedding dress

December 19, 2018

Yes ladies, it’s just like you dreamed. Wearing your wedding dress on your special day is better than chocolate. (And that’s saying a lot for this chocolate connoisseur!) I approached the wedding dress shopping experience by thinking of my dress as my signature – everyone’s got one but mine is unique to me.

Why I decided to change my name after marriage

December 13, 2018

Changing your name could be one of the toughest decisions leading up to your wedding day. For some, it’s a no brainer – but for others, like myself, it’s something you spend some serious time thinking about. I think I shocked a lot of people by changing it – but, let me tell you, it was not an easy decision (at first).

Our FOREver Story: how golf brought us together

December 6, 2018

There’s no doubt that golf brought my husband and I together, so it’s only fitting we went to the Ryder Cup for our Honeymoon and both work in the industry now. But just like our relationship with the game, our own has taken years to build — rooting back to our childhood, even before our days on the high school golf team together.
